This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued, in compliance with UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Our goal is to ensure transparency, fairness, and clarity for all customers.


1. Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refunds may be requested within 30 days of service activation if the service is unsatisfactory and the issue remains unresolved.
  • Eligible services include Web Hosting, Cloud Hosting, and Reseller Hosting.
  • VPS Hosting: Refunds are available within 7 days only if purchased at the regular price and not with promotional coupons exceeding 50% discount.
  • Refunds may be prorated for partial service periods at Hostaron’s discretion, provided the request meets eligibility criteria.
  • Refund eligibility does not extend to accounts suspended or terminated for ToS violations, abuse, or illegal activity.

2. Non-Refundable Services

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Domain registrations or transfers
  • SSL certificates
  • VPS purchased with promotional coupons above 50% discount
  • Dedicated Servers (all orders are final)
  • Setup or provisioning fees
  • Promotional, discounted, or trial accounts
  • Any additional third-party services or add-ons purchased through Hostaron

3. Add Grace Period (AGP) for Domains

  • Domains deleted within 24 hours of registration may be refunded under the ICANN Add Grace Period (AGP) policy.
  • A processing fee of £2 applies to all AGP domain deletions.
  • After 24 hours, domain registrations or transfers are non-refundable.

4. Refund Process

  • Submit a refund request via Hostaron support with your account information, service details, and reason for the request.
  • All requests will be verified, and attempts will be made to resolve issues before a refund is approved.
  • Refunds may be issued as a service credit to your Hostaron account or directly back to the original payment method, at Hostaron’s discretion.
  • Processing time for approved refunds is typically 7–14 business days.

5. Service Credits

  • In cases where full refunds are not applicable, Hostaron may provide prorated service credits for future use.
  • Service credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  • Credits cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to other accounts.

6. Exceptions & Limitations

  • Refunds do not apply to services terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Refunds are not available for downtime caused by force majeure events, scheduled maintenance, or events outside Hostaron’s control.
  • Refunds do not apply to services with promotional or bundle offers if specific terms prevent refund eligibility.

7. International Hosting Considerations

  • All refunds for international customers are issued in GBP (£) and may be subject to currency conversion fees applied by payment providers.
  • Customers outside the UK should consider local banking and international transfer policies that may affect refund timelines.
  • Hostaron complies with international regulations where applicable, but UK law governs this Refund Policy.

8. Dispute Resolution

If there is any disagreement regarding a refund, customers should first contact Hostaron support. Unresolved disputes are subject to binding arbitration under UK law or may be escalated to the courts of England and Wales.
